Is Tixify really free for free events?

Yes. If your event has only free tickets, you pay $0. Unlimited tickets, unlimited events, no catch.

How does the 'first event free' offer work?

First-time organizers pay $0 Tixify platform fee on their very first published event — as long as total attendees stay under 100. If your event reaches 100 attendees, standard fees ($2 or $2.50 per ticket) apply retroactively to every ticket sold on that event. Stripe processing still applies to paid transactions.

Who qualifies as a 'first-time organizer'?

Anyone publishing their very first event on Tixify — paid or free. The waiver applies once per account, on the first event you publish.

Why tiered flat fees instead of a percentage?

Percentage fees punish you for pricing higher. A $100 ticket shouldn't cost you 2× more in platform fees than a $50 ticket. Our flat fees stay predictable: $2 for tickets under $50, and $2.50 for tickets $50 and above.

When do I get paid?

Payouts go directly to your Stripe account on Stripe's standard schedule. You control your bank details end to end.

Can I pass fees to attendees?

Yes. Absorb the $2 or $2.50 fee or add it on top of the ticket price — your choice, per event.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. No setup fees, no monthly fees, no contracts. Just $2 for tickets under $50, $2.50 for tickets $50 and above, plus standard Stripe processing.
